This charming small hotel boasts period rooms and a truly bountiful continental breakfast. The bed was very comfortable thanks to the superior linen and pillows. The neighbors were very loud past midnight, but thankfully left the following morning. The staff were concerned and apologetic (although we hadn't contacted over night). The breakfast was accommodating for all: cereals, homemade breakfast breads, toasts, even meat/cheese plates for international guests, lasting until 10 am, which we appreciated and ate on the outdoor patio. Although this location doesn't have any outdoor facilities, we took advantage of the privileges at the sister property (tennis and indoor pool). A very nice stay and right in the middle of town.

What a beautiful building, inside and out. The staff were so friendly, the overall ambiance was amazing. Our room was cozy and beautiful. They had water bottles for us when we checked in. Wine was available in the lobby and coffee etc in a nice room just beyond the check in desk. You do need to be able to handle stairs. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. There is no risk with stepping away from a familiar hotel chain when you choose this place. We will be back.

I was in town for an LCI bike lead training which was just a mile away from 1820's house. I was able to use the bike trail to go to and fro which was great! Also upon my arrival they gave me a room on the first floor since I had my folding bike. This was much appreciated since the hotel doesn't have an elevator. The continental breakfast was great!

The room was quaint and perfect for our anniversary stay. It had the old mansion feel but was very clean and welcoming. The staff went above and beyond to help us with questions we had and even sent us a complimentary bottle of champagne for our anniversary. It was a wonderful visit!

Jennifer

The building is beautifully restored and has an interesting history. The room was nice and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We appreciated using the EV charger for our car.
